A mistake in the update led Facebook users to automatically send friend requests to all the people they entered profiles of. Facebook made a statement about the issue. The error on Facebook caused users to revolt on every social media platform. They were not wrong in fact, because users who entered someone’s profile were unknowingly sending a friend request to that person. Fortunately, Facebook management realized the issue in a short time and did what was necessary. In the video above, you can see the problem that occurred in the Facebook Android application. You don’t need to do anything after the update. Just entering someone’s profile is enough. The application automatically sends a friend request. The only thing the user who notices the situation can do is to log out of the Facebook application after withdrawing the request. If the profile is returned, the friend request is sent again. A Facebook spokesperson who made statements about the issue said: “We have corrected an error related to the latest application update that caused some Facebook friend requests to be sent accidentally. We apologize for the discomfort this may have caused.”
