Gameplay Footage of Assassin`s Creed Mirage Leaked

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the newest game in the series, set to release in 2023. The game takes place in 9th century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim, a street thief we know from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Basim is a young man who sees disturbing visions and seeks their meaning, leading him to encounter a secret organization called the Hidden Ones that changes his life. The game was announced 8 months ago, with Ubisoft stating that they would focus on the series’ previous stealth gameplay style, which excited many players. However, aside from the cinematic trailer, no new information has been released. Recently, a brief gameplay clip was leaked, showing that the game’s color palette will resemble the vibrant atmosphere of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, minus the sea since the setting is in Baghdad. Basim’s running animation in the clip is similar to Eivor from Valhalla and Bayek from Origins, indicating that the same game engine has been used. Beyond that, not much else has been revealed. Sony is hosting a PlayStation Showcase next week, and there’s a possibility that a new gameplay trailer for Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released. If not, we can expect Ubisoft to release a new trailer during Summer Game Fest 2023 since the game is planned to release that year. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, EPIC, PC, and Amazon Luna platforms. Pre-orders will receive a bonus mission called “Forty Thieves,” and the game’s price on the Ubisoft Store for PC is 589 TL.
